Tverskoy Express LLC is a private passenger company founded in 2003. She owns the Megapolis train - it runs between St. Petersburg and Moscow and makes a stop in Tver along the way. Our main task is to make sure that upon arrival you feel energetic, look great and, most importantly, do not gain extra pounds. The menu offers healthy and balanced meals. Before preparing dishes, we constantly check the quality of the supplied products: meat, vegetables, fruits, confectionery, drinks. Before delivery to the flight, all products undergo mandatory control. Products used in the preparation of breakfast and dinner in TKS carriages contain moderate amounts of fat. Each product is labeled and contains nutritional information. The diet of our guests consists of dishes that include: vegetables, meat, cereals, dairy products, herbs, oil (vegetable, butter), eggs.
How do you guarantee product quality?
We and our suppliers guarantee product quality in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, the Federal Law “On the Protection of Consumer Rights”.
I saw the new menu, but the guide on the way said that not all dishes were available. Why?
The composition of food rations may vary depending on the destination, class of service and duration of your trip. The stated menu items may not be available on the flight. This depends on demand and the number of passengers with identical preferences. If there is no dish on the way, the guide will recommend a choice of dishes from the menu that are similar in calorie content and composition of products.

Our suppliers use the most modern equipment. The method of shock freezing of products is used. This is one of the popular modern methods of preserving food, which is the only one that does not cause changes in the chemical composition and structure of food. We pay special attention and control the supplier when delivering dishes. Meals arrive on the flight in specially equipped vehicles with refrigeration chambers. We take into account the principles of the neighborhood, temperature conditions and specific storage conditions to ensure that the dishes are fresh and tasty.
How to pay for prepaid meals?
There is no need to pay for prepaid meals. Meals are already included in the price of your ticket. You have already paid its cost when purchasing a ticket for carriages with prepaid meals if you chose service classes 1B “Business TK”, 2U “Comfort”, 2T “Economy TK”.
How to pay for unpaid meals?
You can pay for the meal kit en route if you are traveling in 2L or 3U service class (Meals are provided in the carriage, but are not included in the price of your ticket). Before arrival, ask your carriage conductor to calculate the cost of your order. The conductor accepts cash and bank cards for payment.
How to order additional meals?
When traveling with TKS in carriages with prepaid and unpaid meals, regardless of the class of service, you can always order dishes from the main menu, special offers and a catalog of goods for the trip. Ask your carriage conductor to tell you about the availability of food on the flight. Payment is made upon receipt in cash or by credit card.
In modern, comfortable and clean TKS carriages you will not find fried chicken, peeled boiled eggs on newspaper, gambling, or sellers of beer and pickles walking around the train. Eating on the go allows you to get the necessary amount of energy consumed and ensure a good mood. Each guest of a TKS carriage is unique in his own way; everyone’s preferences and tastes vary. Therefore, in TKS carriages, depending on the type of carriage and class of service, there is a main menu, vegetarian and children's.
We have 2 types of carriages: with prepaid meals and without prepaid meals and 6 classes of service. You can independently assign a set of services along the way, depending on your preferences. Prepaid meals are available in TKS service classes: 1B “Business TK” Tickets are not available for travel due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation and a decrease in passenger traffic (SV carriage), 2U “Comfort” and 2T “Economy TK” (compartment carriages). The quality of food and service is provided to the same standard, regardless of the class of service you choose. In service classes 2L (compartment carriage), 3U (reserved seat carriage), meals can be purchased for an additional fee en route.

A few minutes after the train departs, the conductor of the TKS carriage talks about the dishes presented on the menu, as well as the items included in the ticket price (carriages with prepaid meals). The conductor takes your order and brings dinner and breakfast at a time convenient for you. In TKS compartment cars, dinner and breakfast are served in branded lunch boxes; in SV cars, food is served in ceramic or porcelain dishes.
On different routes of TKS carriages you can find different menu options. When updating menu cards and dish composition, we focus on the preferences and wishes of our guests. For example, in Kazan and Saratov for dinner we serve Tatar-style azu with boiled buckwheat, chicken fillet with mushrooms and pasta in cream sauce, and vegetable stew for vegetarians. For breakfast, pancakes with berry jam, oatmeal or rice porridge can be offered. In addition to each ration, crackers, wheat bread, butter, cheese or jam are served.
In destinations such as Pskov, from hot dishes you can choose fried pork with buckwheat, chicken fillet with vegetables and boiled rice, for vegetarians - chickpeas with spinach with tomato sauce. For breakfast - pancakes with cherry jam or oatmeal.
On the road, you can follow your gastronomic preferences. For dinner, business class passengers can order a dish with beef and poultry. TKS serves amazing stewed beef with prunes, chicken breast with pesto sauce, and udon noodles with shrimp. As an appetizer, beetroot salad with feta cheese and a salad of fresh vegetables and herbs are presented. For dessert there are wonderful light cakes.
For children, TKS provides milk porridge, sausages with boiled pasta, pancakes or casserole. We draw the attention of parents that meals for children are provided if they purchase a cash ticket for the child. When purchasing a ticket, each parent has the right to choose the most comfortable class of service for traveling with the whole family.
The menu in TKS carriages necessarily includes: vegetables, cereals, dairy products, cheese, bakery products. Plant foods guarantee normal intestinal function. Live bio-bacteria contained in yogurt will improve digestion and remove toxins. Microelements, vitamins and carbohydrates are contained in an assortment of morning porridges. You can purchase various goods for the trip and additional food (in carriages without paid meals) along the route. We accept cash and bank cards for payment. The assortment includes potato chips, cookies, various types of nuts, chocolate, Inspiration, Mars bars, Snickers, Twix. And of course, sweets: Yubileiny cookies, 7 Days croissants, waffles, honey, organic products from the Elbrus region, dried fruits.
If meals are included in the fare, then upon boarding the carriage, the table of each four-seater and two-seater compartment must be served with bottles of water for each guest. Lack of water is much more difficult for any person than lack of food. We made sure that the dinner and breakfast menu included drinks - juices, water, tea, coffee. Each guest can purchase additional bottled water, Slavyanskaya and Narzan water, and carbonated drinks.
Hot drinks are provided along the route: cappuccino, instant coffee, freshly brewed Lavazza coffee (espresso, Americano). Guests of branded SV carriages can enjoy COSTADORO bean coffee along the way. The coffee has an extraordinary aroma with nutty notes and is made from high-mountain Arabica and Robusta varieties. The conductor of the TKS branded carriage can prepare espresso, ristretto, Americano, cappuccino and latte for you. The SV carriages offer Premium tea in pyramids, tea bags, lemon, sugar and cream to taste.
